Luxury Goods Business
This luxury goods company was growing fast through acquisition and the rapid development of numerous international markets. It was a high-performing organisation but early on recognised the risks that come with rapid expansion and geographic decentralisation.
The company approached a leading business school for support and hence Andrew MacLennan became involved in the discovery process and design of an executive education programme for the most senior 45 individuals.
The heavily customised programme centred around strategic leadership – exploring the firm’s strategy, its execution and the changing role of leaders in that context. Andrew MacLennan led the delivery of the strategy content, working closely with other leading educators and client stakeholders to blend his input with the leadership components. An unique and engaging programme emerged and was delivered across two cohorts, which were later brought together.
Much of the programme was dedicated to exploring live business issues. Participants developed a shared agenda to take forward the company’s strategy, building the insight, engagement and momentum required to make a sustained impact.
The programme created a tangible transformation amongst the executives – further enhancing collaboration across the business and enriching both the leadership style and approach to strategy and its execution.
The participants rated the programme exceptionally highly. Feedback included the following comments:
“Quite literally the best course I’ve been on”
“Great blend of personal development and techniques to develop business skills”
